Czechia attracted more visitors this summer. Prague airport and domestic hotels report year-on-year growth

Tourist interest in Czechia is growing, especially among foreign travellers. Václav Havel Airport Prague handled almost 11.5 million passengers from the end of March to the end of October, which is 7.7% more than a year ago. The number of foreign visitors increased, accounting for 54.5% of all passengers in the summer. Czechia welcomed 7.9 million tourists in the third quarter of this year, including 3.4% more foreign visitors year-on-year. Summer season in Czechia - more tourists, longer stays and interest from distant countries

July to September 2025 attracted 7.9 million guests who spent 21.2 million nights in domestic hotels, guesthouses and other mass accommodation facilities. Domestic tourists accounted for 58.2% of all arrivals, while foreigners accounted for 41.8%. The average length of stay was 3.7 days. On the last day of September, a fundraising dinner was held in support of the New Czech Association, which has decided to nurture local culinary tradition, promote Czech cuisine at home and abroad and steadily raise the level of local gastronomy.
